At the end of the quoting period, the awarding period begins.
Job Awarded
Step 1: You will receive an email from MyHammer.
Step 2: Go to “My Account” -> “My Quotes” -> “Jobs Won” and select the relevant job.
Step 3: Click the “Make Contact” button. You can then discuss the job in person and make arrangements for materials, start date, payment schedule, access etc.
Invoices & Payment Options
- If you submit a “Basic Quote,” you will receive an invoice for the “Success Fee”.
- If you submit a “Featured Quote,” you will have already paid a “Quote Fee” and should have previously received an invoice. No “Success Fee” is due.
- Invoices are sent via email and are visible under “My Account” when you log in. The sum will be deducted automatically within 10 days from your chosen method of payment.
- Invoices may be paid via Credit/Debit card or PayPal.
Rate the Customer
Once the job has been completed, you and the customer are encouraged to rate each other.

This is the 14 day period after the Quoting Period when a tradesman/service provider’s quote will be chosen to carry out the job. This can be extended for an extra 7 days at the job poster’s discretion.

The details regarding job start and finish times should be agreed before jobs are awarded. The Success Fee is due within 10 days of the job being awarded, irrespective of start date.

The scope of the project is much larger than first indicated and as a result costs have increased. What can I do? |

The details of the job should be clarified before quotes are made and certainly before jobs are awarded. Contracts are made between the respective tradesmen and customers and as such MyHammer does not get involved in disputes. Emails and communications should be retained where possible and all details should be agreed in writing.
