MyHammer wants to ensure that tradesmen and service providers always have a large selection of jobs to choose from. If we introduced fees for job posters, there would be less jobs to choose from.

| How is the success fee calculated for jobs with hourly rates? |

Jobs priced p/hour are calculated on the basis of:
The total price of jobs quoted p/hour is calculated by adding the price per hour and the average hourly rates for jobs in that category. Regular jobs (weekly, monthly etc) and follow up jobs are also taken into consideration.
Here is an example:
- Wage per hour (e.g. £10.00/hour)
- Hours per job (e.g. 2 hours/job)
- Number of jobs (e.g. 5 jobs)
Surcharge/Success Fees:
- A Basic Quote success fee of 6% (inc. VAT) would mean a £6 success fee. The success fee for a £100 job would be £6
- There is a minimum success fee of £2.50.

The job size is important when a square foot price is requested on a job.
Fees on jobs where sq.ft prices are given are based on the total area of the job.
The following formula is used to calculate job prices:
- Price per sq.ft (e.g. £25.00)
- Total size (e.g. 100 sq.ft)
Using the above example, the order value would look like this:
- £25.00 x 100 sq. ft = £2,500
- A Basic Quote success fee would be £150.00 (6% of the order value incl. VAT).
